Located just two-and-a-half hours from Pretoria, Waterberg Game Park is a haven for nature lovers. The reserve has a reputation for quality game viewing in a malaria-free area. At the resort, you can walk/cycle along any of our paths or tracks, or create your own walkabout safari or indigenous tree or mountain bike trail (bring own bike), or head out in time to watch the sun rise or set over the Waterberg wilderness from either of our two lookout points. Our evening or early morning game drives offer a close encounter with giraffes or the plentiful other antelope species, Burchells zebra, warthog, etc.
Attractions:
Within 30km, you will find horse rides, a local curio shop, 4x4 trails. Closest Big Five viewing is approximately 50km away and accessible via dirt road. Shelanti is only 100km away.
General information:
Physically disabled person's activities may be restricted. Extra charges applicable for game drives (1½ hour). Quad bikes are available.
Restaurant and small Kiosk shop are available at the resort.
